100 Fewer Items by Thanksgiving
If you are feeling overwhelmed by the upcoming holiday season, try tidying and decluttering for 5 minutes.
The holiday season often means more "stuff" in our living spaces. More toys, decorations, gifts, and grocery items. It is a good time to prepare for the "overwhelm" by doing a bit of decluttering.
Have you tried tidying and decluttering for 5 minutes a day?
If you remove 5 items (trash, items to donate or share with others, or items to return a place in your storage area), you can create a home or classroom space with over 100 fewer items to maintain and manage - all by Thanksgiving. I've been trying this approach for the past couple of months and it actually has made me feel more focused. Try this and see if you feel more settled and less overwhelmed.
The spaces you spend time in and the items you choose to maintain in them really do matter for you and your children (for mental and physical well-being).
