Kids need Community
Kids need opportunities to be around and interact with family members, friends, as well as other adults and children on a regular basis. This type of time spending "in community" helps children not only find their place within the community, but also builds skills that will last a lifetime.
A few of the benefits of being "In Community"
practice communicating with others
learn how to negotiate and compromise
understanding that other people may have different ideas and perspectives - and that is okay
develop healthy relationships with others

make mistakes and understand that it is an opportunity to learn - we all make mistakes
dance and laugh together
work together - teamwork
hold hands and stick together
other people are happy that you are here!
